The people’s global summit was an incredible platform for individuals and organisations to share knowledge and advance ideas to co-construct a combined global conversation for a more equitable world. We want to continue this conversation at the upcoming 17th World Congress on Public Health that will be held in Rome, Italy from 2 to 6 May 2023. The Congress serves as an international forum for the exchange of knowledge and experience on key public health issues, thereby contributing to the protection and promotion of public health at national and global levels. The theme of the Congress is “A World in Turmoil: Opportunities to Focus on the Public’s Health”. It reflects the commitment of the global health community to work together within and beyond our respective fields to promote health equity and build a more sustainable and just future. Registration is now open and abstract submission will open on 1 September 2022. We look forward to meeting you all in Rome to build a better future!
